About this demo

  • There is no restaurant. Fat Cat Dumplings is a landing-page design demo: a fictional brand invented so that the layout, the type and the scroll choreography had something to carry.

    What this page is

  • The Haggerston address, the opening hours and the two nightly sittings were written for the demo. The menu shows no prices, because nothing here is sold. The telephone number sits inside the block Ofcom reserves for drama, so it cannot ring anyone. The pictures are generated images, not photographs of a room.

    What was invented

  • Designed by Vika Taylor with Claude Code’s /design command and built as one page of plain HTML and CSS with no framework. Nothing here can be booked, ordered or eaten.

Vika Taylor briefed Claude Code’s /design command for three landing-page directions for this invented dumpling room. Eighteen minutes later it returned three editable artboards, with no code written yet. This page is the live build from that brief, and the video also asks the same command for a print poster.
